The Christmas Experience Overview
The Christmas Experience, hosted by The Doing Far More Foundation, is an annual community initiative designed to support families during the holiday season by providing both essential resources and meaningful experiences of joy, dignity, and hope.
Each year, selected families are invited to submit wish lists that include both wants and essential needs, allowing sponsors, partners, and community supporters to directly impact the lives of families during the holiday season.
What began as a small, grassroots effort has grown into a powerful community collaboration bringing together volunteers, sponsors, faith leaders, and local partners who believe in serving families with compassion and dignity.
2025 Impact
The 4th Annual Christmas Experience transformed Progressive Missionary Baptist Church located in Texas City into a space filled with generosity, faith, community, and celebration.
Families were welcomed into an environment designed to honor them and provide both practical support and a meaningful holiday experience.
Sponsors, partners, volunteers, and community supporters came together to ensure families received the resources and encouragement they needed during the holiday season.
4th Annual Christmas Experience:

• 39+ Individuals Impacted
• 60+ Community Members Fed
• 13 Computers Distributed
• 13 Drones for Youth Technology Exposure
• Beds, Furniture & Essential Household Resources Provided
• $45,000+ Community Investment
The Christmas Experience also included Event Production and Community Support through:
• Professional event décor and design
• Transportation and logistics support
• Gift-wrapping volunteer events prior to the program
• Community meal service
• Volunteer hours dedicated to planning and execution
Resources & Gifts Provided through the generosity of sponsors, partners, and volunteers, families received a wide range of resources including:
• Beds
• Mattresses
• Furniture
• 13 computers
• 13 drones and technology resources
• Clothing
• Food and household essentials
• Bibles and books
• Toys and gifts for children
• Additional requested household items
These items were provided with care and intention to support families beyond the holiday season.
This impact reflects the generosity and collaboration of partners, sponsors, and volunteers who made the event possible.
